In Seventeen Magazine’s Spring 2018 Prom issue, TERANI COUTURE was featured on singer/actress and cover star, Noah Cyrus. The 18-year-old younger sister of Miley Cyrus revealed she feels “the cutest” in baggy sweatshirts, baggy pants and crop tops, but finds pleasure in deviating from her comfort zone in princess-like pieces.
Cyrus, who is working on her debut album, NC-17, accessorizes glam and “girly” looks with her subtle tattoos, her septum ring and large hoop earrings. She is all about making whatever she wears her own. Dressed by Style Director James Worthington in the Seventeen annual issue, the “Make Me Cry” songstress had help in channeling her grungy rock star essence in two TERANI numbers.
Seventeen first captured Cyrus in a red off-the shoulder Evening dress with a sweetheart neckline and cascading rumba ruffles (Style 1812E5384). Of this piece, which Seventeen likened to “vintage Hollywood glam,” Cyrus remarked, “I was feeling Marilyn Monroe vibes in that one.”
In a second ensemble, Worthington dolled up the baby of the Cyrus musical clan in a heavily beaded silver and nude Terani Gold Label gown (Style 1811GL6414). The linear embellishments of the deep V-neck piece lead to a flirty feathered skirt. Paired with a luscious Jennifer Behr turban, the outfit screamed vintage red-carpet glamour.
With her red stiletto nails, painted in a rich Chanel lacquer, her raven black hair, flowing freely down her back, and her almost makeup-free face, we love the way Noah Cyrus simplified and toughened TERANI’s classic, glam and feminine pieces. There is no one or right way to wear TERANI COUTURE, or to feel beautiful, and we love that.
