Purpose:

The purpose of this privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) is to inform users of our Site of the following:

Our employees are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and a breach of this agreement would result in the employee’s termination.

Terani Couture is the Data Controller of your personal data collected while using the service. As the operator of the Facebook page, Terani Couture and the operator of the social network Facebook are joint controllers. Terani Couture uses the Facebook Insights function in order to obtain statistical data about our users. For this purpose, Facebook uses cookies on user devices that remains active for a period of two (2) years, unless it is deleted before the end of the time period.   • Any personal information listed in the California Customer Records Statute (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.80 (e)). “Any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with, a particular individual, including, but not limited to, his or her name, signature, social security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information.”  
  • Protected Classifications under California or Federal Law.
  • Commercial Information. This includes records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
  • Biometric Information.
  • Internet and Electronic Network Activity Information. Such as browsing and search histories, information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an internet website application or advertisement.
  • Geolocation data.
  • Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information.
  • Professional or employment-related information.
  • Education information.
  • Inferences drawn from any of the information. Inferences drawn from any of the information herein to create a profile about a consumer reflecting their preferences, characteristics, trends, predispositions, etc.
  • Sensitive personal information. Includes SSN, Driver’s License, passport number, state ID card, financial accounts, racial or ethnic origins, religious or philosophical beliefs, genetic data, health, sexual orientation, etc.

Personal information does not include publicly available information or lawfully obtained information, or any truthful information that is a matter of public concern. In this case, “publicly available” means any information that is lawfully made available from federal, state, or local government records. This also includes information that any business has a reasonable basis to believe is lawfully made available to the general public by the consumer, from widely distributed media, from information made available by a person to whom the consumer has disclosed the information if the consumer has not restricted the information to a specific audience.

Personal information does not include consumer information that is deidentified or aggregate consumer information.

We obtain the categories of personal information from the following sources:

  • Directly from you. From the forms you complete on our Site, the preferences you select or provide through our Site.

Our Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
